the choice of serving the beasts, let’s call them “the others”.

I travelled incognito one sweet day,

at the German bay,

with a lot of luggage in the hand

I had a car accident and no car, so this has been unplanned.

I had to catch the bus to reach the train,

while there was uncomfortable rain.

There was no bus going

to catch the train on time to reach the French ocean.

I stopped cars to give me a lift,

you drove home returning from your night shift.

The station was not on your way, but you said you don’t mind,

You helped with the luggage, just very kind.

You drove me all this way for free,

while you nurtured my esprit.

Monsieur, you truly deserve a lovine song.

with this innocent deed,

with unconditional love for others in need.

I dont even know your name,

but you will earn your fame.
